34 Hours per week, Glasgow

£28,113 per annum

12-month contract further term dependent on funding – continued funding being applied for

An exciting position within our Money and Debt Team within our Prevention of Homelessness Team has arisen.

As Debt and Money Adviser you will work closely with Govan Law Centre’s Prevention of Homelessness and Legal Team.   Delivering providing full debt and money advice services tailored to the individual service user.  Experience of working with and providing services to vulnerable individuals and groups is essential.

The post involves blended working; with a combination of working remotely from home and office-based casework and outreach work with our partners. The Job Specification is set out below.

Govan Law Centre is experiencing significantly increased casework demand for legal advice and in particular our preventative work relating to evictions, redundancies, homeowner and debtor’s forbearance and local authority debt recovery for council tax and sequestration.
