If you are homeness or at threat of homelessness, your local Council will have a duty to help you. In certain circumstances there may be a duty to provide you with temporary accommodation. You should contact you local Council Homelessness Team for further advice.

24-hour helpline offering emotional support for anyone feeling down, distressed or struggling to cope.
For counselling/psychological support:
SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health)
The Scottish Association for Mental Health offer information and support, including one to one counselling sessions.
The Folan Trust Counselling
The Folan Trust offer free counselling sessions to people experiencing homelessness in Glasgow, including those who are using drugs and alcohol.
Crisis counselling is a charity that offers counselling sessions at a low cost. These sessions are not limited by location or time.
For sexual assault:

Support, resources and crisis helpline for sexual violence.
Support for homeless sexually abused young women aged 16-25.
For domestic abuse:
Glasgow Women’s Aid
Women’s Aid offer support to women experiencing domestic abuse.
