Govan Law Centre are delighted that our partnership with Saint Anthony’s FC – will continue for another year. Govan Law Centre sponsor ‘the Ants’ and are proud that our GLC logo is on the club shirt of our local football team, who play in the Scottish Junior FA league. We are very grateful to the club who offered GLC a ‘free year’ as a good will gesture from the club.
The Ants, who play at McKenna Park in Govan said: “We felt that given the stop start stop nature of the league campaign, coupled with our new U20s not kicking a ball in earnest at all in their new league, that to look to extend the deals for anything other than free would be unethical, therefore we reached out to our partners who have all agreed to new one year extensions running until the end of the 2021/22 season”.
Mike Dailly, Govan Law Centre solicitor advocate, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be supporting our local team for another year. The Ants are a fantastic community club, they contribute to the local area and it is good publicity for Govan Law Centre. We look forward to another season and to working on different projects with The Ants in the year ahead. And we will get along to as many games as we can”
