Govan Law Centre run a range of projects which specialise in areas of welfare law. Our projects all aim to meet the legal needs of low income people.

We have a national Education Law Unit (Lagh-sgoile) which is funded by the Scottish Government. Our Govanhill Law Centre is funded by the Scottish Government. GLC’s Parliamentary & Social Policy Unit is self-funding.

City Rights Hubs Project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, from the Support and Connect Project.

Scottish Mortgage Rescue service is funded by East RenfrewshireEast Dunbartonshire and South Lanarkshire Councils.

GLC’s Ayrshire Homelessness and Prevention Service (AHAP) is a local partnership funded by the Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB).

Glasgow South Family Support Project is a partnership with Children 1st and is funded by SLAB.

We receive funding from the Legal Education Foundation in relation to our Fellows.
